Great scope
A good scope indeed. It is offered with a detachable red dot detachable mount. DO NOT EXPECT to get it when you receive the package. The red dot shipped is with a fixed base only. Every time you remove it and reinstall the device you must sight it in again. I have tried (to no avail) to work with the companies customer service personnel and they only offer the detachable in a lower grade red dot.Good scope. Not so good customer service personnel!

You can’t beat the scope for the money !
I’m absolutely shocked on how clear the scope is and how well it’s made for this kind of money I have scopes the cost up to $4000 but I purchase this to go on my mini 14 that we use just to have fun with and it is absolutely great for my purpose of use and I highly recommend it

Good overall kit
Everything lines up true and stays true even when in my case getting bounced around. It is a heavy kit, but considering you have a big mag scope, dot and pointer it should be expected to add some weight. Glass isn’t quite as crisp for the higher end scopes available, but for 1/4 the money, it will do just fine for me.

Disappointing
Update:Laser started flickering after using for May be for actual five minutes on. Probably the batteries. The laser fell off while I was shooting haha luckily not the scope…that would have sucked. Anyways, you ge that you Pay forI did a lot of research to find a reliable scope. I am having trouble with keep zero with these scope. The laser is not working right. It blinks. It holds for a couple second and it starts blinking and still again and blinking again. The scopes are heavy. I only had instructions for two scopes. Although pretty self explanatory with some work. It’s just frustrating that after working hard to adjust a zero. It doesn’t hold. Like what’s the point. Also the environment reflection on the hologram scope is so bad. It’s near mirror like in some lighting. It’s hard to adjust the large scope. By the time I am done adjusting the screws are lose again haha because it’s kind of stiff. I am just not having a good experience with this scope unfortunately. I read many reviews and did extensive research and still got a scope that doesn’t really hold up to what it is supposed to

Great optic for the price
I am very pleased with the optic especially the price. Clear sight lens and very easy to install. The riser is a bonus that is needed for my Delton .308 it allows you to keep A2 iron site on and out of view. I have yet to take it to the range but am excited to zero it in. At 50 yard indoor range scope out if box shooting about 4 inches left and 3 inches low. Adjustments made. Great scope after about 100 rounds had to tighten screws to rail but I expected to do this considering recoil of Ar 10 .308 calUpdate unfortunately the recoil from the Ar10 has damaged the reflex sight glass has seperated from the frame of the reflex

It’s Big…..
Well after a half dozen trips to my indoor range the laser sight has failed. The dot sight works occasionally.Glass sight has held up so far. You get what you pay for.Review Update January 21, 2121: I have raised my evaluation from a two star to a Five Star for the scope system. Banyan Imports contacted me to see what my issues were. Much to my satisfaction every issue has been resolved in a quite timely manner. In light of their excellent support I don’t have any reservations in ordering from Banyan Imports again.Thank you again Banyan Imports for your great customer concern and quick reaction to a my problems.

Works great with .223/5.56 AR
Zeroed out the sights using a bore laser and it was accurate. Love that ability to change the shape and color of the laser sight as well as the color for the rifle scope. Internals didn’t seem to shatter in the scope due to the force either. May test on a stronger rifle later on.

Total crap
Out of the box, the scope is hard fixed to the mount, which I estimate to be 5-6 degrees off vertical using my Wheeler levels. You cannot adjust this, even though I rotated the mount. Making it worse, you then mount the red dot witch further produces at least an 11-15 degree optic offset. Mounting the scope with Wheeler torque wrenches, took it to the range. Everything got worse. Granted, I normally only mount $300-$600 optics, I thought it would be fun to have a tacti-cool set up. After firing 120 rounds, adjusting, remounting, the best I could do was 2″ groups at 50 yards. What a total mess. Don’t get me started on optics, every shot felt i was looking through my late grandfathers glasses. Avoid my mistake, stay away from crap. Will I return it? No, it will stay in my “pile of shame”, as to not be so stupid in the future. Utter. Worthless Crap. Stay away from stupid, unlike what I did and should have known better. I don’t think this would be adequate on air soft, but who am I? I’m so dumb I bought this piece of crap.

Scope eye relief is extremely touchy and accuracy on open sight and scope is pretty decent at 30 rounds so far not a lot to test but it did take a few rounds to get it to seat properly also the lazer will not stay zero it moves around after every shot a really poor design was really let down but it is more or less what you pay for it im not a fan of the open turrets but is what it is

For the money you can’t do better. I have 3 of these scopes and had no issue with any of them. Can you get a better scope, yes but you will spend a LOT more money and for what i do at the range at my house these scopes are perfect. My son in law is a detective in a major city and says he loves the one i bought him.

Nice scope.
Working well so far. Only concern is that in bright sunlight the optics in the scope don’t work. They looked black no matter what setting I chose. It made me think the battery was dead but I tried it when I got home and they worked. Sighted in all three pieces with no problem. Then shot about fifty more rounds and they all held position.

Durable and well constructed. 30 Min assembly before being mounted on AR 15. Functions exactly as described. Will provide further detail once I take it to the range. Great scope. 5 stars
Great scope and package for the price. Highly recommend. Have this scope on my aR15. Have shot at the range multiple times and it stays in place. I had trouble finding the zero at 100 yards the first time to the range, but that was my fault and not the scopes. Customer service was great too. The laser didn’t work and they sent a new one to me right away. Pinto makes solid products.

Good quality so far. Caution with laser.
Surprisingly seeming to be good quality. Waiting to test on 5.56 nato platform to see if reticle holds up to shock/recoil. Laser is class 3a which is not eye safe when magnified. Caution should be taken with reflective surfaces and viewing through the optic.-Mount laser on most forward position of rail to avoid struggling… the screws dont line up with picatinny slots anyway.-Laser, reflex, and optic all powered on without issue.-Reflex is different from model that came with another Pinty scope (x32) I purchased

This thing is huge and unless I’m some kinda idiot, this thing is a isnt gonna assist you in hitting your target anymore than a fresh powder coat on your barrel. Save your money an get a replica of a working site, unless thats what this is. Tracers would help to dial it in better than this BS complicated piece of eye candy.

If you are looking for a scope and to save some money this is ideal
So far all I have done is open the box and mount it to my rifle and zero it in at 100 yards. This is a great price for what you get. I was worried this would be too cheap and the colors would be dull. They are bright and this give you so many options!!! I cant tell you how great this looks on my Ar15. The scope is clear and the laser and hud light work in the day time just perfect. So many options and this will help as I decide the best set up for a 3 gun competition.

Great value for the $$
For the price I paid I wasn’t expecting a whole lot from this, but was pleasantly surprised. Took me quite a few rounds to get the scope sighted in (seems like it takes 5 times as many clicks to adjust), but once I did everything else was easy. Clarity of the scope was fine. Adjustment of the red dot and laser was easy also even though not many directions in the box. I’ve only shot 100 rounds so I’ll update later – especially if things change!

Fired the rifle twice since I had it which was just outside warranty of 6 months. The crosshairs turned an tad with each firing. So now my crosshairs are set at 90 degrees to the right. Not bad
Decent enough setup. Scope is nice optically and easy to zero. Put 100 rounds through and didn’t lose zero. Not sure of the point of the illuminated reticle, it is worthless outdoors in the sunlight. Maybe at dawn/dusk you may be able to see the graduations better.Compared the red dot to a much more expensive Burris, and initial quality looks the same, and the illumination is comparable and nice you have red/green and 4 dot options. Batteries I got were shot out though, so at first I though it wasn’t bright enough for sunlight. New batteries and it was fine. The riser for using with iron sights was worthless for my A2 sights, just doesnt line up. For this case, quick release levers would be nice. I ended up deciding the scope was overkill for my AR, so just put aside and used the red dot. The A2 sights do work through the optic then, and as its a x1 this works for me.The laser only comes with green, which is neither here nor there for me. Note though that this is really only a nighttime/indoor aid, so you will probably want to zero this for close quarter/home defense or zero it to the scope/red dot and compensate for the close distance as needed. Finally the instructions are not good at all, nothing on how to use the rangefinder or how to zero the red dot (although that’s pretty intuitive), but had instructions for a different type of red dot??I’ll update when I have zeroed and used the red dot some more.

So very disappointed
So I’ll start of by saying I work over the road and just got a chance to go sight the scope in. I was very disappointed have been waiting since June when I got the scope in to test drive this baby. Was so pumped with all the great reviews I had read and then finally got it to the range and the elevation turret didn’t even work, just sat there and spun around the turret. Tried and tried to get it to catch and never did. The holographic has a home on my 300 blk pistol and the laser is still looking for a home. Might just toss it on my 300 blk as well. So now it’s off to find a new scope.

A great way to figure out what you really like
The laser shifted in its mount, but that was easily correctable. The impact points for the other sighting assemblies was consistent. Cursors are bright enough in bright daylight. This budget priced unit has all the bells and whistles so it is exactly what a newbie might want just to try out all the gizmos to figure out what they like.

Great buy. Couldn’t believe the quality for the price
I was skeptical at first because of the price and some previous reviews. But I must say I’m very impressed with this scope. Everything tightens down with no issue. Didn’t seem to have any issue with the battery cover for the red dot, company may have fixed the issue early on. The laser that comes with it is very bright (green) and having the multiple colors and brightness setting for inside of scope is great. Would definitely recommend and would buy again if the need arises.

It held good for a while. Then I noticed the forward mount bolt on the non-nut side of the frame was partially drilled through the bottom of the frame. Common sense…after reading other reviews
Loctite ….over cranking mounting hardware will damage any hardware no matter who makes it. .might even damage your weapon…use some common sense . mount the scope snug it up finger tight use a small box end wrench add a 1/4 to 1/2 turn to the mounting nuts. Work it in don’t tighten one all the way then the other it will tweak the scope and or weapon any scope or weapon. USE ORANGE LOCTITE…ALWAYS remember its a fine piece of furniture not a bulldozer treat it as such….

On balance, a good deal… pros > cons; maybe a 3-1/2, not a 4?
Put this on an AR-15, did sighting-in only at 25 yds, indoors.INITIAL IMPRESSIONS: OPTICAL SCOPE. Solid build, heavy, large. And long: when mounted on my AR for what was for me proper eye relief the eyepiece of the scope was just over the near end of the charging handle, made getting to the handle a bit awkward, but I guess manageable. Got the scope zeroed with 9 shots, no problems; easy, and probably 6 shots would have done it. The reticle (see the ad) is a strange one, and somewhat distracting, to me, and there’s no info provided about how to use it properly to its fullest at longer distances. (That info can be found on the web by searching for images of “types of rifle scope reticles.”) The petal-shaped hood over the objective lens is as ugly as sin to me. Would have been nice(r) if the scope could be taken off the attached pic mount so I could use lighter rings, but you can’t and doing so would then eliminate the rail sections (9, 12, 3 o’clock) for, for example, the red dot and/or laser sight. The interior of the scope obviously has no light-deadening/absorbing coating. Turn the intensity of either the green or red illumination past 2 or so and there’s scatter all inside the tube and an inner halo. All acceptable when intensity is not turned up…. indoors; don’t know how things will be in bright sunlight. Focus for the eyepiece was very stiff at first. When magnification cranked up to > 5x I couldn’t get the target clear. Maybe things will be ok at higher mags and longer distances. Wish the low and top end of the mag range was lower (e.g, 1-6) rather than what it is, but I couldn’t find an alternative scope with the same features, price range, and my preferred magnification range. Diopter adjustment on eyepiece was VERY stiff. Batteries: common, easy to find (2032 as I recall; see product specs.)RED/GREEN DOT REFLEX SIGHT: Smallish, but quite usable. I was concerned that with it being mounted so high over the receiver I’d never get the dot down to coincide with the scope cross-hairs. That wasn’t a problem. However the windage and elevation adjustment screws had somewhat of a wonky response. Didn’t seem that when, for example, adjustment was made for “up” the dot moved accordingly each time. Same with windage. Nonetheless, with a little fiddling (and no additional ammo used for this part) I got it dead on with the optical scope. Thankfully the adjustments on the red dot are done with an Allen key, which nicely sits and stays put in the screw heads while adjusting, and which way to turn for windage and elevation is clearly marked even for my old eyes. (This is in distinction to some of my cheap red dots and scopes where you use a small regular screwdriver that never seems to fit the slot right and the direction arrows and “R” or “UP” are so damned small on shiny metal I can’t see them.) Batteries: takes 3 (supplied) but they are, to me, and uncommon size (e.g., ( have dozens of LR44s around the house but this sight takes something smaller).GREEN LASER: I suspect it’ll be fine, and I greatly prefer green over red. It too seems well made, but I didn’t put it on because with the optical scope + red dot I figured I already had enough “stuff” hung on the rifle. Another fairly odd (to me) battery size, but I have a couple of spares for another laser on another gun.OVERALL: So far I’m happy with the purchase. It didn’t cost an arm and a leg, zeroing went fine, and now I’ll get to see how things go at longer distances and with more ammo jarring things up.

Flawless and Beautiful
It looks great, works fantastically, and I haven’t needed to readjust the scope since sighting it in! It holds its accuracy after 150+ rounds. I’m sure I’ll need to adjust again soon, but with this many shots through the rifle (.223) I expected to be making adjustments every 10 to 20 shots. But it’s just held on. I couldn’t be happier, honestly. Plus the green laser (did not mount on picatinny) is super fun to tease my dogs with, and it’s a good way to tire them out while they run back and forth across the yard chasing the little green dot. Five stars and I’d buy it again in an instant if I needed to.

Works, just one caution…
This is a rather large scope for an AR platform. It is not heavy, but probably bulkier that needed. If you have a carry handle model (I did), the riser will be too tall. The scope and laser are both decent. CAUTION battery compartment cover screw on the holo-sight is very soft aluminum, and the allen wrench supplied is a sloppy fit. Be gentle taking it out, and do NOT put it back in without some anti-seize compound, dielectric grease, or at least a drop of vasoline. The aluminum-on-aluminum thread will gall, resulting in a jammed cover/stripped allen head socket/much cursing. The distributor was pleasant to work with, and refunded me the cost of the holo-sight. I still gave the product a “4” because the scope and laser are fine, and are cost effective. The green laser is quite bright, and co-witnessed with the iron sights without adjustment. I put the scope on another rifle, and the laser and another holographic sight on the AR.
