Great entry into NV
Don’t listen to the “tacti-cool” guy complaining and pretending he’s a tier 1 operator and that this is a toy. He couldn’t be more wrong. This thing works really well for what it is. It is also pretty sturdy. You can also easily use it as a monocular or mounted on a rifle. You do need to sight in both the red dot and the removable NV version. I would also make sure you actually read the instruction manual to learn how to properly use it. This thing is actually great to get into night vision if you want to save a little money, and forego a traditional monocular or bino setup

150 yards and in is great!
For CQC and clearing rooms this thing is perfect. Be sure to get a good ir light and illuninator.

It’s a toy
This a toy…nothing more. The NV is nearly unusable. Poor quality image sensor. And don’t be fooled by above post: there is no rangefinder in this. It’s just a red dot with terrible NV screen prismed over the view glass. It’s heavy AF, too. Biggest $1000 I’ve wasted on gun stuff.

Dumb idea.
Product works, just extremely low quality night vision. Night vision on a rifle is almost as dumb as thermal on a helmet. Don’t waste your money and get something actually worth owning instead.

Came scratched and damaged.
I ordered this and right out of the box the lens was scratched and damaged. The batter would not charge either. I returned it and Defense only tried to charge me a “restocking fee” for $500. Don’t waste you money.

Great alternative to traditional NVG!
I wanted the benefits of NV, but without the cost and hassle of traditional NVGs. I like the fact that this is my red dot and can simply turn on or off the NV option when I need it for hunting at night. I also tried it with a magnifier behind it and it worked great!

Not worth the money
Have it, it is clunky and not well done at all. NO rangefinder. Would not recommend. The NV is pretty lame and is useless in total dark.
